United By Music, Inc. (UBM) is a non-profit organization that is designed to provide unique and meaningful opportunities to all children.Through a structured musical environment, children will develop core responsibilities, teamwork skills, and confidence.

This program is for all children, to be educated in music, and to build a lifelong relationship with the arts through an affordable and dynamic program. Lessons and all structured activities will be led by experienced professionals.

 

What We Do

Our program provides in-depth knowledge of musical methodology. Additionally, the program provides practical skills in leadership, communication, cultural understanding, behavioral management, organizational development, and working with all youth in all communities.

The approach to music education emphasizes group participation from the earliest stages, group learning, peer teaching, and the joy and fun of making music. Although this program is open to all children who want to learn to play a stringed instrument, we provide special consideration for low income families, the foster care program, and Title I Schools.

The backbone of the student training is laying the ground work for participation in orchestral ensembles.
